COP28: World Wide Technology launches AI for Good initiative

World Wide Technology (WWT), a leading technology innovation company, has launched an ambitious AI for Good initiative at COP28 in Dubai. While climate tech investment faces a decline globally, the UAE has experienced significant growth in this sector, with a 628% year-over-year increase since 2018. The AI for Good initiative also addresses the critical issue of food systems, which account for a substantial portion of global greenhouse gas emissions. The program collaborates with partners like Open Innovation to promote climate-friendly diets through an app-based climate, nutrition, and health advisor for students, contributing to UAE Global Food Security Index rankings.
